Out of Sorts

Out of Sorts is on display at Pacific Northwest College of Art 157 Gallery from September 4-17, 2024. This collection of printed work by Ray Zill reflects on her experience with sight loss. Included in this exhibit are meditations on eye contact, optotypes, and the labor that goes into reading. Hand-set letterpress type and screen printing are utilized to create an environment filled with a cacophony of letters, oversize eye charts, and disappearing text. All work includes large print and braille tags with audio description available online.
